You're Our Kin

When you join All Our Kin, you join the best kind of community. Where relationships matter. Where your talents are recognized and nurtured. Where ‘How are you?’ is more than a cursory greeting.

You become an integral member of our team — game-changers who care passionately about supporting family child care programs to transform historically underinvested communities. We make our mark every day by ensuring there are high-quality, flexible care options to children and families, and helping early child care educators thrive.

We are wholly committed to those who provide high-quality child care from their homes, and recognize that racial equity is an imperative for staff and educators alike. It is ingrained in the fabric of All Our Kin. We strive to grow as individuals and as an organization to end systems of oppression and promote justice.

We know that you can only give your all when we give ours. So when you commit to All Our Kin, we commit to you:

  • Competitive salaries
  • Ample Paid Time Off
  • End-of-year break and Summer Fridays
  • Flexible work schedules
  • Remote work options, position permitting
  • A commitment to racial equity, including racial healing affinity groups
  • Professional development opportunities with your career path in mind
  • Medical, dental and vision care
  • 403 (b) retirement plan
  • Financial wellness program

"At All Our Kin, I can show up as my authentic self every day. I speak out in spaces of power and decision-making and I can offer a different perspective. Over time, I have been able to challenge the status quo and highlight when we are perpetuating systems and practices that do not serve all our whole community."

Breaking Bread

As we overcome the challenges of the pandemic, our AOK family is beginning to do what it loves - getting together in person! Whether it’s an ice cream social, a hike, a trip to the zoo or simply meeting in a park, we are overjoyed to see staff and educators face to face.

All Our Kin's Core Values recognize that diversity and opportunity are fundamental to children's lives and to our work, and we seek to build a team that reflects the diversity we celebrate in our nation and community. We welcome and encourage all qualified applicants who share our vision, as we want to engage all those who can contribute to our work and this mission. We do not discriminate on any basis prohibited by applicable law.
