Join All Our Kin for a powerful three-part panel series, In Good Company! A Conversation About the Power of Coaching in Family Child Care, and discover how
relationship-centered, reflective, and strengths-based coaching can transform the work of educators and coaches.
Led by Family Child Care (FCC) Coach Marina Rodriguez, this dynamic series features voices from the field — educators, coaches, TA
partners, national leaders, and funders — sharing real stories and insights on what it takes to support and sustain those at the heart of this important work.
Spanish interpretation will be available.
What does it mean to be truly seen, supported, and stretched in your practice with family child care educators? In our first coaching panel session, Rooted in Relationships, we will explore how All Our Kin’s strengths-based, relationship-centered coaching approach has transformed FCC programs by centering the educator.
Accompanied by our partners from Trust for Learning, throughout our conversations, we weave the Principles of Ideal Learning, honoring that adults, like children, learn best in environments that are emotionally consistent, culturally affirming and growth-oriented.
You’ll hear from seasoned professionals, including the Chief Media & Philanthropy Officer & Co-Director from Trust for Learning, an All Our Kin Bilingual Education Coach, an FCC educator who's been through the coaching path, and the Co-Founder of All Our Kin.
Together, they’ll share how coaching rooted in reflection, trust, and connection leads to more intentional practice, empowered educators, and healthier family partnerships.
More than professional development, these are stories of growth from within.
Change happens in community. In session 2, Building Community, we spotlight how technical assistance (TA) partnerships can strengthen the entire FCC ecosystem when grounded in mutual
respect and shared vision. We will unpack the following question: How do we cross-pollinate to nurture powerful shifts in practice, belonging, and sustainability?
Join us in conversation with partners from Tennessee, including leaders, coaches, and a local FCC educator, as we explore what it looks like to build a coaching culture across communities.
Because when educators and systems work together, children and families win.
For too long, Family Child Care (FCC) has been undervalued and under-resourced. In From the Margins to the Center, we ask: What will it take to build systems that truly support and sustain FCC?
This final session, co-moderated with Trust for Learning, brings together bold visionaries: the co-founder of All Our Kin, the Executive Director of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and a funder who has invested deeply in FCC systems. Together, we will unpack the policies, investments, and cultural shifts needed to ensure FCC is not only recognized--but resourced and respected as the vital backbone of early care and education.
