Learn the Signs. Act Early. (LSAE) supports early childhood educators in recognizing developmental milestones and identifying early signs of autism and other developmental delays. These interactive sessions build educators’ confidence to observe children thoughtfully, communicate concerns with families in culturally responsive ways and take action when support may be needed.
Participants will:
- Recognize key developmental milestones and early signs of developmental delays
- Use Learn the Signs. Act Early. Tools to support observation and documentation
- Strengthen communication with families using a respectful, strengths-based approach
- Understand when and how to act early, including next steps and referrals
- Identify community and early intervention resources available to children and families.
