In Unit 2 of the Zero-to-Three Growing Brain series, we will build on our Brain Basics foundation and take a deeper look at what shapes brain growth and development in young children.
Participants will explore the key factors that influence early brain development, including the impact of stress and the powerful role adults play in buffering and supporting children through challenging experiences. Together, we will examine how everyday interactions, environments and experiences can either strengthen or hinder developing neural connections. This unit also introduces the 5 R’s which is a practical framework for supporting healthy brain development.

Those who have already completed Zero-to-Three's Unit 1 Brain Basics.
